Carrie St. John, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in pediatric medical social work and systems improvement.
Carrie St. John earned her master's in social work from the University of Washington Tacoma and her bachelor's in sociology from National University. She completed internships in school social work and counseling at Gig Harbor High School and the MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She has additional hospital experience in the emergency department and outpatient medical clinics as well as previous work experience in child advocacy within the juvenile justice system, academic research coordination, and geriatric social work.
