Diana Prieto, MD, is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist in UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s. She specializes in the treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Additionally, Dr. Prieto is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Prieto earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed a residency in general psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UConn Health.
Dr. Prieto is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. She recently published a case report on the use of suvorexant to treat a sleep disorder in an adolescent with bipolar disorder.
