Clinical Biography
Jessica A. Zink, PA-C, is a licensed physician assistant in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the management of surgical inpatients as well as assisting in the operating room and treating patients in the outpatient clinic.
Jessica Zink earned her Doctor of Medical Science Degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Lynchburg as well as both her master’s and bachelor’s in physician assistant studies from Rochester Institute of Technology. She completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at Texas Children's Hospital.
Jessica Zink’s clinical interests include coronary artery anomalies, heart failure, care of single ventricle patients, and quality of life after cardiac surgery. She is also involved in research and quality improvement initiatives. Her research publications include “The Intraoperative use of Recombinant Activated Factor VII in Arterial Switch Operations” and "Primary Aortic Root Replacement Outcomes and Risk Factors in Pediatric Patients." She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
