Julie Arldt-McAlister, MSN, APRN, FNP, is a licensed family nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with heart diseases and defects.
Julie Arldt-McAlister earned her master’s in nursing from Texas State University, her bachelor’s in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and her bachelor’s in nutrition and health from The University of Texas at Austin. She is currently pursuing a post-master’s certificate as a pediatric nurse practitioner in acute care from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Julie Arldt-McAlister is a practicing nurse practitioner with Pediatric & Congenital Cardiology Associates of Texas. Her clinical interests include preventative cardiology as well as caring for children and adults undergoing procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. She is a member of the Austin Advanced Practice Nurses Association and the Heart Rhythm Society.
