Michele Pierson, LCSW-S, is a licensed clinical social worker in Women's Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Integrated Behavioral Health care team. She specializes in providing care management and psychotherapy services to target patients’ psychosocial needs while helping them identify and address their desired goals and outcomes.
Michele Pierson earned her master’s in social work with an emphasis on children and families in the clinical setting from Boston College, her master’s in international and transcultural studies with emphasis on bilingual education from the Columbia University, and her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also served in the Peace Corps as a volunteer teacher.
Michele Pierson has been working with children and families for thirteen years and is passionate about journeying with individuals and families on their path to healing.
