Clinical Biography
Abigail Leff, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker in Women's Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Integrated Behavioral Health care team. She specializes in case management, medical social work, and resource navigation, utilizing a strengths-based approach and motivational interviewing when working with patients to optimize their recovery.
Abigail received a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish studies from the University of Minnesota, where she also earned a master's degree in social work. She completed her internships in school social work at an elementary school as well as in primary care through the Minneapolis Veterans Health Care System. She served in AmeriCorps in Boston and Minneapolis. Abigail has extensive experience working in hospitals, including in the intensive care, obstetrics/maternity, burn, and trauma settings. In addition, she worked with individuals across their lifespans from children and adults.
