About This Program
Dell Children’s Medical Group Pediatrics is a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin, the clinical practice of the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dell Children’s Medical Group Pediatrics diagnoses, treats, and manages all aspects of preventive, wellness, and sick-child care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults (birth through 21 years of age). Our goal is to provide convenient care for preventative healthcare needs and unexpected, non-life-threatening minor illnesses and injuries. We work with you to develop a care plan that offers personalized guidance and recommendations while also providing expert, comprehensive care.
Dell Children’s Medical Group Pediatrics uniquely offers patients and their families the opportunity to develop close provider-patient relationships while also benefiting from the array of opportunities offered through the program’s association with Dell Children’s Medical Center. Our pediatricians can seamlessly participate in and coordinate patient care with our colleagues at Dell Children’s Medical Center. We are skilled in caring for all children, including those with chronic medical conditions and medical complexities, and closely partner with our subspecialty colleagues to coordinate care.
Treatment Approach
Led by your child’s primary care pediatrician, the Dell Children’s Medical Group Pediatrics care team delivers personalized primary care specific to your child’s needs. Patients are cared for by a dedicated multidisciplinary care team, meaning your child will benefit from the expertise of multiple specialists across a variety of disciplines. Our board-certified pediatricians have extensive experience providing newborn care, conducting preventive health well-child visits, and treating acute care concerns in children of all ages and work alongside a team of pediatric experts, including nurses, a social worker, and more, providing unparalleled care for patients and their families every step of the way.
In addition to providing primary care services, we are committed to caring for the whole child by addressing all areas of their well-being, including physical, mental, developmental, behavioral, and other realms of health and wellness. We collaborate closely with physicians and other partners in the community, including pediatric hospitalists, emergency department physicians, and subspecialists at Dell Children’s Medical Center, to schedule and coordinate any additional care services your child may need.
We also collaborate with our colleagues at the Dell Medical School and The University of Texas at Austin to utilize the latest research, diagnostic, and treatment techniques, allowing us to deliver highly specialized care and offer personalized treatment options with a focus on increasing your child’s overall quality of life.
Appointment Information

Each visit will include a comprehensive physical exam, any age-appropriate vaccines as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) immunization schedule, and any age-appropriate screenings, such as vision tests, hearing tests, and lab work.
