Allison Behr, LCSW-S

Clinical Biography

Allison Behr, LCSW-S, is a licensed clinical social worker in the UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center. She practices within the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program. She counsels children and teens and has specialized in working with youth for half of her 20-year social work career.

Allison Behr received both a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She also completed Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner training at Texas Christian University.

Allison Behr works directly with youth in schools, with all ages in crisis and medical social work, and has provided individual therapy to all ages with a special focus on children, teens, and play therapy. She enjoys partnering and working with youth, advocating for just and equitable resources, and empowering youth and families with tools to assist all aspects of their well-being.
