Clinical Biography
Ashley Stanley-Copeland, MD, is a board-certified pediatric neurologist in UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of neuromuscular disorders in children. Additionally, Dr. Stanley-Copeland is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Neurology.
Dr. Stanley-Copeland earned her bachelor's degree in biological sciences with minors in Spanish and chemistry and an additional bachelor's degree in Spanish from Louisiana State University. She earned a master's degree in cell and molecular biology from Tulane University and a medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans. She then completed a residency in pediatrics and child neurology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences followed by a fellowship in pediatric neuromuscular medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Stanley-Copeland is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
