Clinical Biography

Barbara Pierce, LPN/LVN, is a licensed practical nurse in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with heart diseases and defects.

Barbara Pierce earned both her certification in licensed practical nursing and her certification in licensed vocational nursing from Career Point College, where she graduated with honors.

Barbara Pierce previously served as both a cardiac monitor technician and a patient care technician in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit) for more than 18 years at Dell Children’s Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Austin.

Barbara Pierce is a licensed practical nurse with Dell Children's Medical Center.
