Cathleen Hoffman, MS, CCLS

Clinical Biography

Cathleen Hoffman, MS, CCLS, is a certified child life specialist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in child development and provides emotional support to hospitalized children and their families to minimize any stress, anxiety, or psychosocial trauma.

Cathleen Hoffman earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and family science with an emphasis in child life from the University of Georgia and her master’s degree in human development and family studies with a concentration in child life from Texas State University. She completed a child life practicum at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and an internship in child life at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Cathleen Hoffman is a child life specialist with Dell Children’s Medical Center.
