Celeste Sheppard, MD, FACOG

Clinical Biography

Celeste Sheppard, MD, FACOG, is a fellowship-trained maternal-fetal medicine specialist in both Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin, and the Comprehensive Fetal Care Center, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. Additionally, Dr. Sheppard is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health.

Dr. Sheppard earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital, a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and a second fellowship in perinatal research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Sheppard founded Tiny Hearts Project, a nonprofit whose goal is improving the prenatal detection of congenital heart defects. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Sheppard is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist with UT Health Austin.
