Clinical Biography
Chesney Castleberry, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and the Medical Director for the Heart Failure, VAD, and Transplant Program within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, the clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in pediatric heart failure and transplant. Additionally, Dr. Castleberry is an associate professor in both the Dell Medical School Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care and the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Castleberry earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed a residency in pediatrics at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and a fellowship in pediatric heart failure and transplant at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.
