Clinical Biography
Delaney P. Herman, LCSW-S, is a licensed clinical social worker in the Comprehensive Fetal Care Center, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in facilitating counseling and case management services for pregnant women with fetal anomalies.
Delaney P. Herman earned bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her master’s degree in social work from DePaul University. She also completed an internship in school counseling at Village Leadership Academy and a second internship in emergency department social work at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Delaney P. Herman has extensive experience in serving as a social work supervisor and providing crisis intervention and intensive trauma therapy for adults, children, adolescents, and families. With nearly 10 years of experience working in healthcare, outpatient mental health, and crisis intervention settings, her primary interests include providing training, education, and support to new social workers. She is also passionate about the diagnosis and treatment of perinatal mental health disorders as well as the assessment and treatment of suicidal/homicidal ideation.
