Elizabeth West, MS, CCLS

Clinical Biography

Elizabeth West, MS, CCLS, is a child life specialist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in child development and provides emotional support to hospitalized children and their families to minimize any stress, anxiety, or psychosocial trauma.

Elizabeth West earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Texas State University and her master’s degree in human development and family studies with a concentration in child life from Texas State University. She completed an internship in child life at Methodist Children's Hospital.

Elizabeth West is a child life specialist with Dell Children’s Medical Center.
