Clinical Biography
Erika Aurioles, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in Women's Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She is also part of UT Health Austin's Integrated Behavioral Health care team. She specializes in a client-centered approach, using principles from therapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed interventions.
Erika Aurioles earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in international relations at the University of Connecticut and a master's degree in social work at Hunter College. She has experience as a case manager and mental health provider in community-based settings and in inpatient mental health settings, working with youth, adults, families, and groups. Her clinical interests include expanding her knowledge around trauma-informed care to support individuals as they attend to their well-being.
