Clinical Biography
Jennifer Sear, MSN, CPNP-AC, is a licensed acute care pediatric nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with heart diseases and defects.
Jennifer Sear earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She earned a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in pediatric acute care from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in nursing education from The University of Texas at Austin.
Jennifer Sear previously worked in pediatric emergency medicine before transitioning to caring for patients in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (ICU). Her research interests include CPR process improvement and management of pediatric cardiac arrest.
Jennifer Sear is an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner with UT Health Austin.
