Clinical Biography
Joseph Casadonte, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin.
Dr. Casadonte earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, which is affiliated with the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Casadonte's clinical interests include general cardiology, preventative cardiology, dyslipidemias, and other risk factors for early cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the National Lipid Association.
