Clinical Biography

Karla Robles Lopez, MBBS, MSc, PhD, is the Program Coordinator for both the Neurofibromatosis Clinic and the Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis and Related Neuroimmune Disorders Clinic within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin.

Dr. Robles Lopez earned her master’s degree in molecular medicine from the University of Sheffield in England, her doctoral degree in neuroscience from the University of Sheffield Medical School in England, and her medical degree from La Salle University in Mexico. She completed clinical training in medical genetics at the National Institute of Pediatrics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Dr. Robles Lopez has a special interest in clinical medicine, human genetics, pharmacogenomics, translational medicine, neuropathology, and medical research. She focuses on helping patients with genetic conditions, particularly those with neurofibromatosis, and is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for her patients and their families. In addition to her clinical work, she coordinates clinical trials and other research studies.

Dr. Robles Lopez is a program coordinator with Dell Children's Medical Center.
