Karla Robles Lopez, MD, MSc, PhD is the Neurofibromatosis Program Coordinator and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Related Neuroimmune Disorders clinic coordinator at UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. Dr. Robles Lopez's interests include helping patients with genetic diseases with a special interest in neurofibromatosis. She is passionate about creating the best outcomes for her patients and their families. In addition to her program work, she coordinates clinical trials and other clinical studies.
Dr. Robles Lopez received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from La Salle University, Mexico City, Mexico, and completed her clinical training in Medical Genetics at the National Institute of Pediatrics, National Autonomous University of Mexico. As a physician-scientist, she is skilled in clinical medicine, human genetics, pharmacogenomics, translational medicine, neuropathology, and medical research.
