Kelly Swap, MSN, AGACNP-BC, AGNP-C, is a licensed acute care adult gerontology nurse practitioner for the Institute for Cardiovascular Heath a partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She specializes in caring for peri-operative cardiac surgery patients.
Kelly earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington, a master's degree in nursing specializing in adult gerontology from the University of Cincinnati, and a post-masters with a focus in acute care from The University of Texas at Arlington. Her prior experience includes over a decade of critical care nursing, after which she started her nurse practitioner career in hospital medicine. She found her true passion through cardiac surgery where she enjoys collaborating with intensive care nurses in caring for post-cardiac surgery patients.
Kelly is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
