Keren Hasbani, MD

Clinical Biography

Keren Hasbani, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and the Director of Cardiac MRI for the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. Dr. Hasbani also serves as the Medical Director for the Coronary Anomalies Program within the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. She specializes in general pediatric cardiology, echocardiography, and advanced imaging, including cardiac MRI and CT. Additionally, Dr. Hasbani is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Hasbani earned her bachelor's degree in bioengineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Brown University, a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s National Hospital, and a second fellowship in advanced imaging, with a special focus on cardiac MRI and fetal echocardiography, at the National Institutes of Health, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Dr. Hasbani is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Heart Association, and the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.

Dr. Hasbani is a pediatric cardiologist with Pediatric & Congenital Cardiology Associates of Texas.
