Clinical Biography
Kristopher Heinzman, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist in the Institute of Cardiovascular Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. He specializes in general cardiology and electrophysiology. At the Ascension Seton Heart Institute, he serves as the director of clinical electrophysiology and is the co-chair of the institute's Annual Update in Clinical Cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Heinzman is an assistant professor with a specialization in cardiology in the Dell Medical School Department of Internal Medicine and is the associate program director for the department's Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program.
Dr. Heinzman earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in general cardiology and electrophysiology.
Dr. Heinzman is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Heinzman is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist with Ascension Medical Group.
