Clinical Biography
Laura VanDoren, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a licensed family nurse practitioner in Women’s Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of complex vulvovaginal disorders and vulvar pain syndromes.
Laura VanDoren earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey—Rutgers University.
Laura VanDoren has more than 20 years of experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating obstetrics and gynecology patients. She is passionate about helping women achieve their health goals and enjoys working with patients to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to their care. For the past 12 years, she has voluntarily served as the chairperson for the Marching Arts Safety and Health Project, an initiative of Drum Corps International that is concerned with improving the health and safety of performers in the marching arts. She has also co-authored a study titled BMI changes among marching artists: a longitudinal study.
