She completed her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine. Following her residency in pediatrics and neurodevelopmental disabilities from Baylor College of Medicine, she completed a fellowship in fetal and neonatal neurology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Ferrante is a published author and researcher. She is a member of the Newborn Brain Society, the Texas Neurological Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Academy of Neurology.
