Clinical Biography

Ligiola Aranaga Sanchez, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a licensed pediatric nurse practitioner in the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center within UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the management of pediatric epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism and ADHD. Additionally, Ligiola Aranaga Sanchez is an advanced practice nurse in the Dell Medical School Department of Neurology.

Ligiola Aranaga Sanchez earned her master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin and a medical degree from La Universidad del Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She also earned her primary care pediatric nurse practitioner certification.

Ligiola Aranaga Sanchez’s research interests include healthcare disparities. She also serves as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Dell Children’s Medical Center’s Clínica Hispana de Epilepsia Pediátrica (Hispanic Clinic for Pediatric Epilepsy), which offers personalized epilepsy care for Spanish-speaking patients and their families with limited English proficiency.
