Clinical Biography
Mahmoud Madi, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist in Digestive Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. He specializes in providing comprehensive clinical care across all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology, including liver disease, gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening, nutritional counseling, and digestive epidemiology. Additionally, Dr. Madi is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Madi earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center, where he was awarded Resident of the Year, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Saint Louis University Hospital, where he served as chief fellow.
Dr. Madi has received multiple accolades, including awards in teaching excellence.
