Clinical Biography

Mary Clipp, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC, CCRN, is a licensed acute care pediatric nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in the providing preoperative and postoperative care to patients.

Mary Clipp graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Michigan and earned her master’s degree in nursing from Rush University, where she completed an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner program.

Mary Clipp has over 15 years of experience working in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care units across Chicago, Seattle, and Minneapolis. She formerly served as a nurse practitioner in the pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. She is passionate about providing comprehensive family-centered care throughout the patient and their family's journey. She is also a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Holistic Nurses Association, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
