Meghan Straub, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner in UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in treating pediatric patients with a range of neurosurgical conditions, including brain and spine tumors, epilepsy, trauma, and intracranial vascular anomalies, as well as congenital conditions such as Spina Bifida and Chiari malformations.
Meghan Straub earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Colorado and her master's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She also earned a post-master’s certificate as a pediatric nurse practitioner in acute care.
Meghan Straub served as a clinical assistant while attending nursing school and later transitioned to a bedside nurse after graduation. At Dell Children’s, she played a key role in developing and launching the inpatient rehabilitation unit within the neurosciences department.
