Clinical Biography
Meghan Straub, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC is a pediatric nurse practitioner in UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in treating pediatric patients with an array of neurosurgical conditions, including brain and spine tumors, epilepsy, trauma, intracranial vascular anomalies, Spina Bifida, and Chiari malformations. She began her career as a clinical assistant as she attended nursing school. After graduating, she worked as a bedside nurse in Colorado before moving to Austin, where she worked in Dell Children's neurosciences department, where she assisted in opening and developing the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Meghan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Colorado and completed her master's degree in nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care.
