Molly McVey, APRN, FNP-C, is a licensed family nurse practitioner in UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. With 10 years of experience caring for the pediatric population, the last 4 being at Dell Children’s Medical Center, she now specializes in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Molly McVey earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The Ohio State University and her master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. She also has experience as a travel nurse at numerous pediatric centers across the country. As an inpatient rehab nurse practitioner, Molly McVey enjoys helping children maximize their functional potential and guiding them and their families through the process of recovery, while utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Austin Advanced Practice Nurses Association.
