Clinical Biography
Molly Trexler, APRN, CPNP-AC/PC, is a licensed acute care pediatric nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in caring for patients who have undergone cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery as well as those in pediatric intensive care units (PICUs).
Molly Trexler earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villanova University and her master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. She also earned a post-master’s certificate from The University of Texas at Arlington and is dual certified in pediatric acute and primary care.
Molly Trexler’s clinical focus involves providing holistic, comprehensive care for children and families. She serves on the Board of Directors for Saint Louise House, a local nonprofit that provides long-term supportive housing for homeless mothers and their children.
