Clinical Biography

Rachel Meler, MSN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner in UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in pediatric neurosurgery. Additionally, Rachel Meler is an advanced practice provider in the Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School.

Rachel Meler earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Rachel Meler's experience includes 9 years of nursing experience in adult critical care, pediatric intensive care, emergency care, and various areas throughout Dell Children’s Medical Center, as well as advanced practice experience in primary care and adult/pediatric kidney transplant. She is a member of Austin Advanced Practice Nurses and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
