Rana Khaznadar, MD

Clinical Biography

Rana Khaznadar, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in general cardiology care and treatment for children.

Dr. Khaznadar earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed a residency in pediatrics at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital through the The University of Tennessee Health Science Center Pediatric Residency Program and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago through the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Khaznadar formerly served as a faculty member with The University of Tennessee Health Science Center Pediatric Residency Program and as a pediatric hospitalist at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. She has presented at local and national conferences and remains active in teaching, research, and community and public service initiatives. She is a member of the Fetal Heart Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
