Rana Khaznadar, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in general cardiology care and treatment for children.

Dr. Khaznadar attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in degree in biology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center Residency Program. She was a faculty member at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center pediatric residency program and a pediatric hospitalist LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. Dr. Khaznadar completed her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University / Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Dr. Khaznadar has presented at local and national conferences as well as is an active teacher, researcher, and participant in community and public service events. She is a member of the Fetal Heart Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
