Clinical Biography
Roderick Yang, MD, is a board-certified congenital heart surgeon in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between at Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. His clinical interests include all aspects of congenital heart surgery with a particular interest in new aspects of machine learning to better understand the field of congenital heart disease. Additionally, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School.
Dr. Yang completed a medical degree at the University of Illinois at the Peoria, IL site, followed by an integrated residency in Thoracic Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, and then a fellowship in congenital cardiac surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Dr. Yang is a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon with UT Health Austin.
