Clinical Biography
Roozbeh Taeed, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiac critical care intensivist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. He specializes in caring for patients with critical congenital or acquired pediatric heart disease. Additionally, Dr. Taeed is an associate professor in both the Dell Medical School Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care and the Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Taeed earned his bachelor’s from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed both an internship and residency in pediatrics at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston Health Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology with advanced training in cardiac critical care at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Taeed’s clinical interests include medical education and team building to provide complex medical care. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has participated as a team member in international medical care services.
Dr. Taeed is a pediatric cardiac critical care intensivist with UT Health Austin.
