Clinical Biography
Sara Gill, PhD, is a licensed pediatric psychologist in UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children's, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in person-centered care for children, adolescents, and their families. Additionally, Dr. Gill is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Gill earned her master’s degree in child development from Tufts University and her doctorate in counseling psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed an internship in clinical psychology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a fellowship in clinical psychology at the Clarity Child Guidance Center, where she worked with children, adolescents, and their families in an outpatient and inpatient setting, engaging in individual, family, and group therapy as well as providing psychological assessments.
Dr. Gill is a past member of the San Antonio Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, where she was also a member-at-large for the executive committee. She has participated in numerous regional and national presentations, with her most recent work focusing on suicide prevention for children and adolescents and supporting the mental health of children and families coping with chronic disease.
Dr. Gill is a pediatric psychologist with UT Health Austin.
