Clinical Biography

Stephanie Doggett, PA-C, is a licensed physician assistant in Digestive Health, a clinical partnership between Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin. She specializes in foregut, anti-reflux, and minimally invasive general surgery. Her role on the clinical team is in clinic with pre- and post- operative evaluation and treatment, in the operating room as first assist, and in the hospital with perioperative care. Additionally, Stephanie Doggett is a health professional specialist in the Dell Medical School Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care.

Stephanie Doggett earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine, where she graduated with high honors. She is also clinically trained on interpreting high-resolution manometry and ambulatory pH testing.

Stephanie Doggett is nationally recognized for foregut expertise and patient care related to foregut surgery. She hosts advanced preceptorship programs for physician assistants and nurse practitioners on foregut surgery and the concept of reflux centers of excellence. She is actively involved in clinical research and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society.
