Clinical Biography
Sydney Cantalupo, MS, CCLS, is a board-certified child life specialist in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in child development and provides emotional support to hospitalized children and their families to minimize any stress, anxiety, or psychosocial trauma.
Sydney Cantalupo earned both her bachelor’s degree in family and child development and her master’s degree in human development and family science with a concentration in child life from Texas State University. She completed a child life practicum at Saint Francis Children's Hospital and an internship in child life at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Sydney Cantalupo formerly worked at TriStar Centennial Children's Hospital. She is an active volunteer with Best Buddies of Central Austin and a member of the Association of Child Life Professionals.
Sydney Cantalupo is a child life specialist with Dell Children’s Medical Center.
