Victoria I. Felkl, MD

Clinical Biography

Victoria I. Felkl, MD, is a board-certified pediatric psychiatrist in UT Health Austin Pediatric Psychiatry at Dell Children’s. She specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Felkl is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Felkl earned her medical degree from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado in Santa Tecla, El Salvador. She completed a residency in psychiatry at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she served as chief fellow.

Dr. Felkl contributes to team-based telehealth consultation services through the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) initiatives. She previously served as an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist at The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester. She also collaborated regularly with pediatricians within the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health care system and worked with the rapid response team at Catholic Medical Center and Elliot Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include autism, perinatal mental health, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She rotated at the UCLA Child and Adult Neurodevelopmental Clinic and the Childhood OCD, Anxiety & Tic Disorders Program at Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She is also a certified adolescent provider of the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relationship Skills (PEERS®), which is world-renowned for providing evidence-based social skills treatment to preschoolers, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems.
