Clinical Biography

Claire Champion, APRN, CPNP-AC, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner in the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She specializes in pediatric pulmonary hypertension, with extensive experience managing comorbidities, such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia, tracheostomy/ventilator dependency, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, pulmonary vein stenosis, and complex congenital heart disease, as well as expertise in treating severe pulmonary hypertension with continuous infusions.

Claire Champion earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Missouri and her master's degree in nursing with a focus on acute care pediatrics from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
