Suzanne Pekarek, LMSW

Clinical Biography

Suzanne Pekarek, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker with UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s, a clinical partnership between Dell Children's Medical Center and UT Health Austin. She provides direct support to patients and families. She is the social worker for the Pediatric Neurology Clinic, the Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury/Concussion Clinic, and the Neurodevelopmental Center.

Suzanne Pekarek received a dual undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. She then earned a master's degree in social work with a clinical concentration from The University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work.

Suzanne Pekarek provided social work services in various settings around the globe. Much of her experience has been in case management, school advocacy, parent education, resource navigation, and crisis intervention.

Suzanne Pekarek is a licensed master social worker with Dell Children's Medical Group.
