The Child Neurology Residency is a five-year program designed for medical school graduates interested in a career in child neurology. The program mirrors Dell Med’s focus on educating future physician leaders and developing innovative models of health care and education. It is committed to creating an exceptional learning experience designed to prepare each physician for a variety of careers in the field of child neurology.

The Epilepsy Fellowship at Dell Medical School is a one-year program that trains fellows to evaluate and treat children and adults with seizures and seizure disorders. The fellowship provides a strong foundation in the science, pathology, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and management of these disorders at a level beyond that expected of a general or child neurologist.

The Pediatric Headache Fellowship provides fellows with clinical experience, personalized education, and dedicated research opportunities to achieve individual academic goals, with the broader aim of developing new leaders in the field of pediatric headache medicine and serving the Central Texas community. Certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties, the one-year fellowship trains physicians to evaluate and treat children and adolescents with debilitating headache disorders.

The two-year Postdoctoral Residency in Clinical Neuropsychology is intended to be a resident’s final neuropsychology training experience. The program prepares residents for independent practice in neuropsychology and eventual board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. The program follows the scientist-practitioner model and has two major areas of study: adult neuropsychology and pediatric neuropsychology.
